Tab Trade - The Honest Breakdown
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
